Political Philosophy
We tend to seek categories and labels to define and re-communicate our beliefs. Such labels are varied and widespread: Republican, Democrat, Conservative, Liberal, Right, or Left.
It is important to recognize the limitations of verbal or written simplifications of political thought, and the ease with which misapplication can lead to irrational thought. No two individuals are entirely the same; no two sets of beliefs are identical.
Understanding this, LibertyClick does not label the sum of its political philosophy in a word or a few words.
It is the hope of the editors that the reader will improve his or her personal political and philosophic understanding in the process of enjoying this site.
“Political tags – such as royalist, communist, democrat, populist, fascist, liberal, conservative, and so forth – are never basic criteria. The human race divides politically into those who want people to be controlled and those who have no such desire.” – Robert A. Heinlein
